Great for a slow walker!

I am a senior gal with respiratory problems living in an area with lots of outdoor air pollution making it impossible for me to ‘walk around the block’ even if I was healthy enough to do it.

This treadmill is perfect for me. I doubt if it ever gets used to it’s peak performance, but for what I need, I just love it! It is sturdy. It is easy to get on and off it. I get the exercise I need without leaving my home. That means everything to me!

We put ours together ourselves(which wasn’t easy) and it would not function at all. We tried all the troubleshooting tips in the manual but no success. It took forever to get ahold of customer service at Proform – kept getting the message “we are experiencing high call volume – please try again later” and then they would hang up!! FINALLY got thru and was on hold for 45 minutes. Once I got the technician, she was very nice and helpful. We had to take the cover off of the motor housing and check the wiring. We did find a wire that was not connected. We reconnected the wire and finally got the thing working. So far it seems okay – will edit this post if we have more problems.

Just want to caution potential buyers that about self-assembly of this thing. As another reviewer already stated, the screw holes do not line up at all, so my husband had to redrill some of the holes, and then it still took both us to get the holes to align by pulling up or pushing down on the uprights while screwing in the screws. Be prepared to have long waits getting ahold of Proform customer service – I have seen other reviews that say the same. And also be prepared to take the whole thing apart if you have a problem – although the technician on the phone was helpful, it was still a bit initimidating fooling around with all the electonics and wiring!

ProForm Crosswalk is a Solid Treadmill for Running and Arms work out

This is my second Proform after I had my older one for 8 years, on this machine you can walk and run on it and has 12 different programs. The best thing about this machine that other treadmills don’t have is the Arms work out.
